Paradoxes in geology - main correct paradigms

  1. The Earth is an expanding planet
    - tectonics of litospheric plates ( floating continents ) do not exist;
    - continents have mantle roots and move ( spread ) together with mantle;
    - under the influence of inertional breaking forces and space objects gravity forces the crust and mantle shift in the western direction.

  2. The mantle is relatively homogenous
    - variations of geochemical composition of mantle are determined by variations of geochemical composition of basic erupted volcanic rocks - toleitic basalts;
    - average mantle composition - average composition of toleitic basalt.

  3. Magmatic and metasomatic mantle differentiation does not exist
    - partial melting in mantle does not exist;
    - mantle melts at once and entirely. Toleitic basalt is a melting product.

  4. Mantle is compacted but not discompacted
    - mantle compacting is related to crust origination;
    - crust origination is accompanied by liberating light constituents - Н20, SiO2, К20 - granitizing fluid, from the mantle and their accumulation in the crust.

  5. Peridotites Черта - are not mantle, these are crust formations

  1. Ultrabasic magmas do not exist
    - peridotites, komatiites, kimberlites are not a melt. These are metasomatic formations.

  7. Granites Черта - are not mantle, these are crust formations.
Diorites
Gabbro
  1. Acid and alkali magmas as well as basic melts differentiation do not exist.Granites, diorites, gabbro are not a melt. These are products of metasomatic processes.

  2. Depositional matter differentiation is the main process which predominates the formation of mineral deposits.

  3. Large mineral accumulations are formed as a result of complicated multiple processes of depositional, metamorphic and metasomatic matter regrouping.
